Interested in fly fishing or know someone who is?
At Bristol Water Fisheries we offer a range of tuition available to anyone over the age of 12. From 2 hour casting lessons that cost just £10, to private lessons with our expert instructors all options are catered for.
Beginners Days:
Beginners days are the recommended starting point for any one interested in starting fly fishing. Run monthly through the fishing season beginners days run from 2pm-6pm and cost only £10. On this course you will learn how to set up your tackle, try your hand at casting, followed by some bank and possibly boat fishing. Tackle is hired at no extra charge. These sessions taught by local instructors with years of fishing experience are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere. The purpose of this session is to have a go and see whether you would like to learn further. If so the next step is casting tuition.
Casting Tuition:
Casting tuition runs from 11am-1pm most Saturday Mornings in the fishing season. Tackle is supplied at no extra charge. This is a slightly more intensive course to teach the basics of fly casting. When our instructor feels you are at the nessecary standard you can then move on to our improvers days
Improvers Days:
This course is for people who have experience of fly casting and need further instruction to improve their casting or refresh their technique. This session runs twice a month on a Saturday afternoon from 2pm-6m and costs £20.

Free Tuition Days:
