Another very good spot for boat fishing. Sheltered and shallow with plenty of weed beds. Similar fishing to Herriots. Very good brown trout area with good evening activity throughout the season. Drifting off shore takes you out to the Roman Shallows across some deeper channels. The drop-offs from shallows to deeps and back again are often the best catching places. Always some hatches near the shores. Bank fishing is difficult until the lake levels drop but the autumn fishing from Moreton bank can be some of the best on the lake.
