  Hollow Brook and Twycross Point
One of the two main feeder streams entering the lake. This used to be the favourite bank area of the lake but is now somewhat overgrown and silted up. Can be bank fished when lake levels fall. Good boating all around this area especially early season. Shallowish area with not much more than 15ft at its deepest and many places under 10ft. Always a favourite in the spring as this is where the daphnia are blown in the spring. Although very sheltered in southerly winds be careful when returning to the jetties as it can be very rough rounding the points of the Island.
