Bank fishing between the picnic areas is allowed but no fishing in front of the picnic sites until the water levels fall sufficiently to prevent back casts crossing the fences. Beware also of public walking on the bank sides. Very good early morning and late evening spot with good rises. Picnic area 2 is left open for early morning access but BEWARE! Leave nothing visible in your car here. Also a good boat area drifting along the shore or into the picnic areas. Excellent nymph fishing and top of the water sport. Fishing off shore of the Island is always good. Neglected area after the summer.
