One of the most fished areas of the lake for both bank and boat anglers. Very shallow and often weedy on Nunnery side but deeper and mainly clear on Woodford side. Find the spaces in the woods for some very good fishing. Drifting out of the bay always finds some fish and often in the mouth of the Bay near the net cages is one of the best areas for rising fish on the lake. Dries and emergers during the morning and evening hatches are favourite but nymphs fished with poly leaders or on intermediate lines also do well. By the net cages a fast sink line with larger lure, booby or zonker gives you the chance of a much larger fish. The bigger fish caught in the past few seasons have come from this area.
