Bank fishing from the Moreton side of the Bay is popular, especially when the wind is strong from the south. The fishing platforms give good access to allow fishing over the weed growth near the bank. The point by the dog-leg in the Bay is also very popular and easily fished with waders. The dog-leg can be fished from the shore without waders. Boat fishing can be excellent during the summer when there are usually masses of corixa in the weeds near the old road. Sheltered spot for boats from stronger south winds.
