Great bank fishing area when the wind is right. Often quite weedy but always plenty of fish here. Difficult to fish deep as the area is so shallow. Wading is a must. When lake levels fall, walk to Rugmoor point for some memorable sport. Another excellent boat area. Around the willows and weed beds, where the bank anglers cannot reach, are often the best spots. Always a chance of rising fish. A favourite area for early season as the water warms quickly and holds clouds of daphnia in March and April.
